February 3rd Quilt Celebrations!

Lots of fun on the 3rd!

Susy brought some of her Kim Diehl "Simple Whatnots"
samples that she's doing for Bobbi for the shop.

Aren't they just darling?

Wonderful work, Susy!

Jessie brought a baby quilt that has been in the works for a long time.
The focus fabric is from a flannel shirt/jacket
that we've had in our family since the 90's.

Cute quilt, Jessie!

Carolann brought her hexie/circle quilt to celebrate.
The applique border is wonderful and I love
what she did with the overall colors and sashing.

Beautiful, Carolann!

Joann brought a lovely reverse applique candle quilt top
to get opinions on how to quilt it.

Isn't it amazing?

Beautiful, Joann!

Connie brought her disappearing hourglass quilt
in blue and white, and some red, too!

June 18, 2013 Quilt Celebration!

Another mini quilt show!  Theresa, Diana and Carolann brought quilts to celebrate...........

Theresa brought several.........

Above, a donation that became a Linus quilt.

Above, a hexi zig zag table runner,
and below, another hexi zig zag.
On top of the hexi is a piece that was made of
donated blocks.  The sailboats are cute.
It was the second place raffle quilt during Shop Hop.

And then here is "Tutu's Flower Garden,"
the Linus raffle quilt made in honor of Virginia.
So beautiful!

the makings for which she found on vacation.

Carolann brought this quilt made from textiles from Ghana.
Her good friend, Julie Voetberg, had sent the fabrics
to her from Ghana when they were living there,
and this is what she came up with.
Nicely done, Carolann!
