July 16, 2013 Quilt Celebration!

Well, we're going to get some use out of this blog again today!  We had three quilts to celebrate tonight and I'm so glad I was there.  One of them will not be posted because of the gift-nature of the quilt, but will have to wait until after it is given to its recipient.  So, here are the other two......

Susie Carpenter brought her Piece and Plenty Quilt tonight.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of her with it, but here is her beautiful work.

She's having some difficulties with the borders that she's hoping to solve soon.

And Barb brought her Kim Diehl scrap quilt.  It's a fun one!

It came out of this book and there are some other beautiful ideas in here.

Here's Barb's version of the cover quilt.  I like hers better. :-)
