Quilt Celebrations from September 2nd!

We had a big celebration time on the 2nd!
There were 5 of us who shared quilts.

First was Rachelle with another UFO completed from her list for this summer!  She machine quilted it and learned a lot, she said.

I love the colors and the fact that it's a sampler.
Beautiful, Rachelle!

Theresa shared a Linus quilt that she finished.  Lots of machine quilting
and some struggles along the way, but isn't it just cute?!

Such fun, Theresa!

Barb brought her Jakob's quilt made for her niece
who just graduated from High School and is heading away to college.
The French General fabrics are just beautiful.

Lovely quilt, Barb!

Joann showed her cute baby quilt made of fabric
her husband got for her at a yard sale, if I'm remembering correctly.
She put it together is such a fun way.

So cute, Joann!

I brought my LeMoyne Star Pinwheel, which was inspired
by a quilt from 1830, which was made in Boston, Massachusetts.
I used the Collections for a Cause 1852 line from Moda.

Barb did the quilting and designed her own pattern for the LeMoyne blocks and combined others to make a continuous pattern for the other squares.  Didn't she do such a fantastic job?  Thanks, Barb!

Happy Quilting!
