Quilt Celebrations for March 22, 2015!

We had a couple of show-and-tells last night, as well as celebrations!

Susy brought her Hunter's Star to show before quilting it.  She also said that the Block Magazine pattern was not the easiest to use.  Forewarned is forearmed!

It's still beautiful, Susy!

Ruth brought a patriotic top to show that she worked on during the retreat she attended recently.

Lots of fun details, Ruth.  Nice job!

She also shared an Amish-type quilt she made from a $5 block club.

Beautiful, Ruth!

Connie shared the quilt she made for her grandson, Will, for his 10th birthday. She hid 10 "Wills" in the quilting!

What fun, Connie!

Deborah made this cute summer spread from fabric she found in the Country Store during the quilt show.  It's for her niece and nephew for a wedding gift.  He works in the film industry in Hollywood!

Great job, Deborah!

Cynthia brought her lovely 4-patch exchange quilt.  As you can see, she used them as the centers for bear-paw blocks.  Isn't it amazing?

Absolutely beautiful, Cynthia!

Happy Quilting!!

October 1st Quilt Celebrations!

More celebrations!  Barb and Deborah both brought finished projects to share.

Barb finished her "Brick" quilt, adapted from an ABC kit.
She turned it into a Quilters ABC!
Such a comfortable looking quilt.

Deborah brought her blue-ribbon-winning Bow Tie.
She made it for her husband as a commemorative
for their first date, on which he wore a bow tie.
Very sweet, Deborah!

Happy Quilting!
