Quilt Celebrations for May 12th, 2015

I am so sorry not to have been able to be there last night!
What a wonderful celebration time!
Thanks to Ruth Decker and Susy for the pictures and commentary.....

Geralyn brought three beauties.

The applique motifs are from a Kim Diehl pattern.
I love the simplicity of this.

Bobbi Fenn designed the center for this one.
The wool applique idea is from Primitive Quilts magazine.

I have no details on this one.  I'd love to hear!

Beautiful, Geralyn!!

 Toni brought two lovely quilts...

The warmth of this 9-Patch makes me want to
curl up with a book on the couch!

This fabulous one is made from a
Fig Tree line and is all hand pieced and quilted.
The only machine work is the initial stitching of the binding.
She bought a lot of this fabric and has enough for another quilt!

 Beautiful,  Toni!!

Becky brought this strip quilt.
I don't have any details, but I really like it!

 Fun one, Becky!

Jeanine brought her "smalls."
Aren't they beautiful?

Lovely, Jeanine!

Connie and Ruth shared this joint effort for Linus.
As I understand it, Connie pieced it and Ruth Quilted it.

I like the red, white and blue!

And Ruth brought this beauty that she has remade
from a much larger quilt to fit Linus size requirements.
Won't someone just love to receive this?

Beautifully done, Ruth!

Thanks again for the pictures and commentary!

Happy Quilting!

March 10th Quilt Celebration!

We had a real treat on the 10th when Jeanine shared her "Happy Quilt".  It's the first time she's delved into wool applique, and what a beautiful result!

These are two of her favorite blocks!

Beautiful, Jeanine!  I agree.  It is a happy quilt!

January 27th Quilt Celebrations

We had some fun quilts on the 27th!

Theresa brought a couple of Linus finishes.
She did a simple stripe pattern and embellished it with cool quilting.

Great idea, Theresa!

Jessie brought a baby quilt she has made for her cousin's first child.
The owl is a special touch.

Lovely, Jessie!

Jeanine brought her Christmas quilt top to show.
It is absolutely fabulous!
